Janice Wheatley

Janice Faye Wheatley, 77, passed away at her home on March 4, 2025, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Hawesville, Kentucky on March 15, 1947, to Jessie and Mildred (Mathena) Coon.

Janice looked forward to celebrating the holidays with all her grandchildren and trips to Kentucky Lake with her family.

Surviving are her children, Marcia Stillwell (Stephen), Tracy Wheatley (Ethel), Chad Wheatley (Tammy) and Nathan Wheatley (Nancy); brothers, Mike and Jesse Coon; sisters, Bonnie Harrison, Ann Powers and Angie Miller (Larry) and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Kenneth Wheatley and her parents.

Janice requested no services. Her burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Huber Funeral Home is assisting her family with arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
