James Phillips

Tell City, Indiana James R. "Jim" Phillips, 69, passed away December 10, 2015 in Cannelton. He was born November 1, 1946 in Spencer County, son of the late James W. and Olga (Aders) Phillips. Jim retired from Waupaca Foundry. He was a member of Tell City Masonic Lodge #623 and enjoyed, his Rottweiler "Gunner", bird watching, hunting, riding his Harley Motorcycle and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Jill (Harris) Phillips; daughters, Julie Foster (Tim), St. Meinrad ,Leah Newton (Justin Riley), Maceo, KY, and Emily Preston (Aaron) , Cannelton; son, Mike Phillips (Mary), Tell City; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Tell City Masonic Lodge #623 will conduct a memorial service at 4:00 PM Sunday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospital or Perry County Animal Shelter.
