James Oliver

St. Croix, Indiana - James B. "Jim" Oliver, 61, passed away on August 6, 2018. He was born in National City, California, on November 10, 1956, son of the late Rurel and Mary Elizabeth (Frakes) Oliver. Jim retired from Albertson's Grocery where he had been employed for over thirty three years. He was an avid reader of history and westerns and enjoyed spending time on the farm riding four wheelers and tractors. Surviving him are his sons, Jacob Oliver, Arvada, Colorado and Tim Oliver, Evansville; grandchildren, Corban, Eliora and Lilla Oliver and Kera Oliver and his children's mother, Dianne Seward. Special thanks to Bill Lynch, his wife, Raquel and their children, Natalie, James and Jasmine for welcoming him into their lives the last few years. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 12, 2018, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Walker Cemetery near Branchville. Visitation will be from 12:00 until 2:00 PM on Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to Walker Cemetery.
