James Mullins

Tell City, Indiana James L. ""Jim"" Mullins, 75, formerly of St. Croix, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Perry County Memorial Hospital. He was born November 26, 1935 in Oriole, son of the late Lloyd and Amy (Krutz) Mullins. Also preceding him in death was a brother Floyd Mullins. Jim married Wanda Goffinet October 23, 1954 at Branchville United Methodist Church. He was a self- employed farmer, logger and truck driver. Jim was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cannelton. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding four wheelers, spending time with his grandchildren and visiting with friends. Jim is survived by: His wife of 56 years, Wanda Mullins, Tell City Daughters, Marilyn Smith and her husband Ken, Holland, and Rosa Brown and her husband Dale, St. Croix Son, Barry Mullins and his companion, Dawn Byerly, St. Croix Brother, Howard Mullins and his wife Dianne, Ione, Oregon 5 Grandchildren, Jim Mullins(Heidi), Newburgh, Eric Mullins(Clara Goffinet) Leopold, Jessica Arns, Holland, Matthew Brown (Matrika), St. Croix, Dwight Brown(Mallory), Ashland, Kentucky 2 Step Grandchildren, Kathyrn and Daniel Smith, both of Holland 6 Great Grandchildren, Dalton and Chloe Mullins, Jordyn and Lorelai Mullins, Ava Brown and Rowan Brown Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM January 11, 2011 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Walker Cemetery. Bro. Al Madden will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 PM on Monday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
