Tell City, Indiana - James A. "Jimmy" Longest, 35, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2013, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville. He was born October 21, 1978 in Louisville, son of Leo and Cecilia (Siewert) Longest. Jimmy waspreceded in death by his father. Jimmy was united in marriage to Kristina Taylor. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children, hunting, playing video games, his dogs, Daisy, Gypsy and Bruce and volunteering with Cub Scout Pack 191. He is survived by his wife Kristina (Taylor) and sons, Steven and Samuel Longest, at home. They are expecting a daughter in February, Scarlet Rose, a name that her daddy picked out for her. Also surviving are his mother; Cecilia Longest, Louisville; sister, Tina Bratton, Louisville; mother and father in-law, Debbie and Lester Taylor, Tell City; sisters-in-laws, Tiffany Taylor and Brittney Taylor Butt (T.J.), both of Tell City; nieces and nephews, Emily Richerson, Kahlan Bratton, Casey Bratton, Erin Butt and Rylan Butt. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 26, 2013, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 PM. Bro. Eddie Olberding will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
