James Bryant

Grandview, Indiana James S. "Jim" Bryant, 62, passed away July 1, 2014 at his home. He was born April 29, 1952 in Perry County, son of James D. Bryant and Margaret (Colbert) Lautner. Preceding him in death was his father James D. Bryant and a grandson Austin Bryant. A 1970 graduate of Perry Central High School, he retired in 2004 from Alcoa Warrick Operations after 33 years. He was united in marriage to Bobby Jean Hall on July 10, 1971. Jim enjoyed watching television, reading and spending time with his grandchildren. Jim is survived by his wife of 43 years, Bobby Jean Bryant; mother, Margaret Lautner, Tell City; daughter, Tyla Bryant, Grandview; sons, Steven Bryant, Newburgh, Derrick Bryant, Tell City, and Justin Bryant, Grandview; sisters, Margaret Denu, Birdseye, Susan Ubelhor, Tell City, Brenda Kyle, Cannelton, Darla Murphy, Grandview and Carolyn Whitehead, Rome; brother, Mark Lautner, Santa Claus; seven grandchildren, Isaac, Hannah, Nathan, Logan, Bryer, Blake and Brenden Bryant. As per his wishes there will be no visitation or funeral services at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel.
