James Anderson

Troy, Indiana James E. "Jimmy" Anderson, 58, passed away at his home on May 1, 2013. He was born in Tell City on January 26, 1955, son of the late Jimmie Anderson and Mary Ann (Marmor) Quinn. He is also preceded in death by his wife Mary (Polen) Anderson , daughter Tracy Anderson and sister, Anna Pearl Anderson. A 1973 graduate of Cannelton High School, Jimmy retired from General Electric after 26 years. He was a member of FLW Outdoors bass fishing league and Sons of Veterans of Foreign Wars. He especially enjoyed fishing, hunting, NASCAR, his dogs and watching college basketball. Jimmy is survived by his daughters, Jane Ann James (Tommy) and Melissa Wright; brothers and sisters, Karen Jarboe (Bart), Buddy Sims, Bill Marsh, Donna Marsh, Kerry Joe "Moe" Marsh, Barb Anderson, Kim Anderson; grandchildren, Sammie James, T.J. James, Paige Sandage and Courtney, Chance and Presley Wright. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Wegenast Cemetery in Rome. Pastor Andy Payton will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 PM Saturday and from 10:00 AM until service time on Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to Rome Cemetery Association.
