Tell City, Indiana Jackson Pittman, Jr., 55, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at his home. He was born March 29, 1956 in San Antonio, Texas, son of the late Jackson W. Pittman Sr. and Jovita (Salinas) Pittman. Also preceding him in death was a brother Billy Joe Pittman. He was a U.S. Marine veteran serving in the Viet Nam era. Jackson was united in marriage to Lisa Fuchs June 15, 1979 who survives. A truck driver for 27 years, he at one time owned and operated his own trucking company called E & A Trucking. Jackson was a member of the American Legion Post #213. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching movies, fishing and gardening. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Lisa, and daughters Elise M. Pittman and Allison M. Pittman, all of Tell City. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in Lamb Cemetery in Rome. Pastor Harry McDonald will officiate. There will be military graveside rites conducted by the American Legion Post #213. Visitation will be on Friday from 3:00 until 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Hospital.
