Iva Lee Sutcliffe, 92, passed away on September 17, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Gatchel on September 3, 1931 to John Elias and Ollie (Belcher) Terry.

Iva Lee had worked for General Electric for 36 years, retiring in 1989.

She was a lifelong member of Lilly Dale Church of Christ and looked forward to cooking at Woodland Bible Camp each year. Iva Lee enjoyed quilting, traveling, taking walks with Shirley Lindauer and spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving are her children, Terry Sutcliffe (Sharle), Derby, Donald Sutcliffe (Sue), Gatchel, Barbara Blinzinger, Tell City, Darlene Bolin, Cannelton, Marlene Scarboro, Tell City, Sandra Sutcliffe, Scottsdale, AZ and Yvette Pekinpaugh (Joe), Magnet; 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband of 43 years, John Sutcliffe in 1992; a grandson, Eric Sutcliffe; great granddaughter, Love Forever Sutcliffe and siblings, Russell Terry, Belva Sullivan, Esther O. Schraner, Marie Carnes, Margary Terry, Nellie Litherland Hammac and Grace Johnson Moore.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CST on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Lilly Dale Church of Christ. Brother Harry McDonald will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3:00-7:00 PM at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel and Thursday from 9:00-11:00 AM at the church.
