In her spare time, Irene enjoyed crocheting, sewing, feeding birds, flower gardening, watching soap operas and spending time with her friends at the OAKS Senior Center in Cannelton. For the last fifteen years, Irene resided in Troy, Indiana, living closer to her family. Donna Peter, Troy, Indiana A son - Merlin L. ""Sonny"" Claycomb, Jr., Conway, Arkansas Grandchildren - Joe, Tracy and Doug Budny, Lori Walton, Sarah Peter, Thomas Peter, Tammy Burton and Anna and Allison Claycomb Twelve Great Grandchildren Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 6, 2005, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, Pastor Sharon Summers officiating, with burial in New Cliff Cemetery in Cannelton. Friends may call from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry County Council on Aging's OAKS Senior Center in Cannelton or Beverly Health Care's Activity Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
