Ida Badger

Cannelton, Indiana Ida Ruth Badger, 92, passed away October 5, 2014 at Professional Care in Dale. She was born October 28, 1921 in Millstone, daughter of the late Burl and Phoebe (Sandage) Anson. Also preceding her in death was her husband Carmie Badger, son, Donald Badger, brother, E.D. Anson, sisters, Evaline Litherland, Augustine Perry, Myrtle Ahl, Nancy Walls, Esther Holpp and Dolly Wilson. A member of Tell City Church of Christ, she enjoyed reading, playing cards and bingo and spending time with family and friends. Ruth had worked at the Green Thumb project through Lincoln Hills Development Corp. Ruth is survived by daughters; Linda Hicks, Carolyn Hughes, Gayle James, Erma Bryant, Judy Richards and Juanita Basham; brother, Robert Anson; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel with burial in Simons Cemetery in Tobinsport. Visitation is from 2:00 until 7:00 PM on Tuesday and from 9:00 until 11:00 AM on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
