Hubert Kellems

Tell City, Indiana Hubert L. Kellems, 75, passed away Friday, January 8, 2010 at his home. He was born December 25, 1934 in Perry County son of the late Sherman and Elsie (Powers) Kellems. Also preceding him in death was his wife, Evelyn, half brothers, James and Pete Kellems, half sister, Pearl Goffinet and a sister in infancy, Ella Louise Kellems. He married Evelyn Etienne on January 2, 1954 at St. Paul Catholic Church. She passed away August 28, 2001. Hubert retired from Tell City Chair Company. He enjoyed attending church, spending time with his family and his dog Holly, bluegrass music and going to dances with friends at William Tell Senior Citizens. Survivors: Daughter - Rita Kay Kellems, Tell City, Indiana Son - Rico Kellems and his wife Judy, New Palestine, Indiana Half Sister - Viola Half Brother - David 2 Grandchildren - Vanessa Kellems and Hubert Dewayne Kellems and his wife Beth Great Grandchild - Heaven Marie Kellems A friend who cared for him, Irene Lawalin Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 12, 2009, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Chestnut Grove Cemetery. Pastor Harold Nix will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 PM on Monday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Tuesday. Memorial contributions can be made to your favorite charity.
