Herb Damin

Herbert L. “Herb” Damin, 89, passed away on May 8, 2024 in Evansville.

He was born in Leopold on March 18, 1935, son of John and Clara (Hardesty) Damin.

Herb was united in marriage on Aril 27, 1968 to Oleva Kluesner, who proceeds him in death.

Herb was a self-employed welder for his business A-1 Welding and attended St. Paul Catholic Church. He liked to watch old westerns on television.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Oleva Kluesner Damin; sisters, Louise Burden, Viola Kieser, Edith Oskin and Ellanora Schneider; and brothers, James “Eddie” Damin and Earl Damin.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM CDT on Friday, May 10, 2024 at St. John Chrysostom Church Cemetery in New Boston.

Huber Funeral Home is assisting his family with arrangements.
