Helen Wittman

Tell City, Indiana Helen L. Fuchs-Wittman, 88, passed away on December 29, 2020 at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Ranger, Indiana on June 23, 1932. Helen retired in 1994 from Tell City Chair Company. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and St. Ann Society. She loved to cook and garden. Helen is survived by her husband, Clarence Wittman, Tell City; children, Donna Fuchs-Hermann, Lexington, KY, Diane Fuchs-Saylor, Pottstown, PA and Glenward Fuchs, Versailles, KY; a sister, Uneda East, Mount Pleasant; grandchildren, Rebecca Hermann-Serafini (Jason), Carla Hermann-Ignacio (Joe), Katie Saylor-Graybeal (Tim), Carl Fuchs (Annie) and Michael Fuchs; great grandchildren, Emma Serafini, Kristina, Conner and Christian Ignacia, Ella and Tucker Graybeal, Rheanne and Paisley Fuchs. Preceding her in death was her parents, John and Minnie (DuPont) Doogs; first husband, Carl Fuchs; a sister, Mary Ruth King and brothers, Leonard and Cletus Doogs. Graveside services will be held at a later date in Log Church Cemetery. Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Catholic Church or Perry County Memorial Hospital.
