Helen Stiles

Cannelton, Indiana Helen L. Stiles, 77, passed away December 19, 2017 at Oakwood Health Campus. She was born in Perry County, April 12, 1940, daughter of the late Irvin and Mayme (Skeeto) Meyers. Also preceding her in death was her husband Virgil "Lambert" Stiles in 2000, a son, Virgil Lambert Stiles and sister, Ruth Ann Sandage. Helen was a member of Deer Creek Baptist Church. She retired from General Electric, had worked at Tell City Chair Company and had been a nurse's aide at Perry County Memorial Hospital. Helen enjoyed traveling, bingo, dancing at the William Tell Senior Citizens Center, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters; Mindy Fulkerson (Jim), Cannelton, Tina Stiles, Tell City, for whom Helen was proud to have home after serving several years in the military and Lisa Mullis (Paul), Tell City; son, Jason Stiles (Christina), Tell City; seven grandchildren, Derek Wilbur, Ty Lambert Harvell, Ashley Sanders, Jordyn Mullis, Justin, Addison and Jaxon Stiles and two great grandchildren, Trent Wilbur and Alaina Sanders. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday December 21, 2017 at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. Dr. Elmer Shelby will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
