Helen Burns

Cannnelton, Indiana Helen T. Burns, 62, passed away January 2, 2018 at her home. She was born in Perry County, Indiana on March 23, 1955 to the late Robert and Elouise (Harris) Bolin. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Clyde Burns; sisters, her twin, Ellen Rush, Barbara Bolin, Velma Bolin and Flora Sandage. Helen enjoyed playing bingo, animals, especially her dog, Shadow, flower gardening, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving is her daughter, Amanda Burns (Stassen Hollowell), Cannelton; step daughter, Diana Ball, Cannelton, and step son, Kurtis Burns (Shaina), Elkhart; brothers, Albert Bolin and Donald Bolin; half brother, William Sandage; half sister, Mary Smith, Cannelton; five grandchildren, Stacia and Trey Hollowell, Christopher Ball, Jordan and Riordan Burns and nieces, April Duke and Shane Rush. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM CST on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel. Brother Larry Sosh will officiate. Burial will follow in Boling Chapel Cemetery in Hancock County, Kentucky. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
