Hazel Ramsey

Derby, Indiana Hazel M. Ramsey, 90, passed away April 30, 2015 at Deaconess Gateway. She was born February 3, 1925 in Perry County, daughter of the late Elmo and Stella (Stephens) Lawalin. Also preceding her in death was her husband James Lensy Ramsey, daughter, Charlene Daum, brothers, Curt, Leroy, and Edward Lawalin. Hazel was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, canning, quilting and crossword puzzles. She is survived by her granddaughters; Kimberly Braunecker (Duane) and Stephanie Hoffman (Travis); three great grandchildren, Kendal, Madison and Molly; sister, Evelyn Toothman and brother, Lloyd Lawalin. Funeral services will be 9:00 AM Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery in Derby. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 PM Monday and from 8:00 AM until service time Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Cemetery in Derby.
