Hazel Patterson

Tell City, Indiana Hazel O. Patterson, passed away June 9, 2012 at Scenic Hills Care Center. She was born in Tell City, December 2, 1931 daughter of the late Jesse and Velva (Davis) Scales. Also preceding her in death was her husband Frank Patterson Sr., son Benny Nugent, sister, Barbara Kieser, and brothers, Paul and Edward Scales. She retired in 1992 from Lincoln Hills Nursing Home and attended Otter Creek Baptist Church in Degonia Springs. She has resided at the home of Bob and Edith Nugent in Gentryville. She is survived by daughters; Becky Hensley, Van Buren, AR, Bonnie Kyle, Woodlawn, TN; sons, Bob Nugent, Gentryville, Billy, Barry and Bucky Nugent, all of Cannelton; sisters, Sarah Kloeck, St. Meinrad and Mary Ann Kellems, Tell City;13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Huber Funeral Home with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 until 2:00PM on Tuesday. Pastor Gene Koker will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Otter Creek Church Missionary Fund.
