Hazel Heck

Cannelton, Indiana Hazel C. Heck, 89, passed away Monday, January 28, 2013 at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born March 21, 1923 in Reynolds Station, KY, daughter of the late John and Agnes (Bivins) Gillians. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Heck, sister, Mary Jo Smith, brother, Bud Gillians and a granddaughter in infancy. She had worked at the Perry County Agriculture Office, enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, quilting, and flower gardening. Hazel also was a good cook. Hazel is survived by daughters, Joyce Roberts (Thurman), Tell City and Roberta Seibel (Gary), Butler, KY; sister, Gladys Coon; grandchildren, Faith Snyder (Joe), Robie Roberts, (Shannon), Travis Dermon (Kim), Mike Dermon (Tanya); 9 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at noon Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Cliff Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
