Hazel Briggeman

June 24, 1915 — December 14, 2005

Hazel D. Briggeman, 90, passed away at 2:08 AM Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City. Hazel was born June 24, 1915 in Tell City, the daughter of the late Herman and Ella (Chenault) Dickman. She married Charles Urban Briggeman November 16, 1939 in Tell City. Mr. Briggeman passed away in 1993. Also preceding her in death was a son, Richard ""Dick"" Briggeman, a sister, Leona Dickman, and two brothers, Herman and Harry Dickman. A member of Evangelical United Church of Christ, Hazel was a graduate of Tell City High School and retired in 1977 from Tell City Chair Company where she had worked for many years. She was a member of Rebekah Lodge # 314 for more than seventy years and enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by: One daughter: Sheila Kreisle and her husband Bob, Rockport, Indiana Six grandchildren: Kimberly Antey, Kevin Robert Kreisle, Kelly Kreisle, Kelli Hubert, Tara Edwards, and Christopher Briggeman Eight great grandchildren Funeral services will be 11:00 AM EST Friday, December 16, 2005 at Huber Funeral Home-Tell City Chapel with burial in Greenwood Cemetery at Tell City. Chaplain Jack Neighbors will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday and from 9:00 to 11:00 AM Friday at Huber Funeral Home-Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Evangelical United Church of Christ, Vista Care, or Perry County Memorial Hospital.
