Harry Zellers

Tobinsport, Indiana Harry L. Zellers, 89, passed away August 26, 2017, at Golden Living Center in Tell City. He was born in Tobinsport, Indiana on October 19, 1927 to the late William and Mable (Falon) Zellers. Also preceding him in death was his wife, Susie (Chenault) Zellers; sisters, Nina Rupp, Erma Farley and Dee Dee Spencer; and a brother, Frank "Poodie" Zellers. Harry was a self employed farmer and worked construction, helping to build Interstate 64, Highway 37 and Cannelton Locks and Dam. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. Surviving are his children, Dan Zellers and Peggy Zellers (Dan Kessans), all of Tell City; brothers, Lowell "Hot" Zellers (Eileen) of Sonoma, CA and Art Zellers (Pat) of Tell City; sister-in-law, Patsy Zellers of Tell City; and two grandchildren, Kyle Robbins and Kelsie Bland Graves. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CST on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel. Rev. Ann Skiba will officiate. Burial will follow in New Cliff Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00-8:00PM and Tuesday 9:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Clayton Harris Memorial First United Methodist Church.
