Harold Foerster

Harold W. Foerster, 76, passed away Monday, September 30, 2013, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. He was born October 29, 1936 in Spencer County. He was united in marriage to Nelda McKim, November 3, 1956 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She passed away January 2, 2012. Also preceding him in death were his parents, Oscar and Esther (Klahn) Foerster, sister, Mabel Anson and brother in infancy, Edward Foerster. Harold was a graduate of Troy High School. He worked for Tell City Chair and retired from Jasper Seating. Harold owned and operated Harold Foerster Cabinet Shop. He enjoyed woodworking, camping, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Harold is survived by his three daughters; Cindy Taylor (Warren), Cathy Greubel (Gary), and Carol Pannett (Jeff), all of Tell City; sister, Mildred Bryant, Chandler; six grandchildren, Allegra Taylor, Chelsea Schaaf McCallister, Hunter Greubel, Sam Litherland, Krystal Litherland Braun, Felicia Litherland Robbins; 2 step grandchildren, Ryan and Brandon Taylor; 4 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Pastor Daniel Gadbaw will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 PM Friday and from 9:00 until 11:00 AM Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
