Greg Poehlein

Chrisney, Indiana –

Gregory D. Poehlein, 56, passed away on May 21, 2024, at his home.

He was born in Woodstock, Illinois on September 1, 1967. He had been employed at Olsun Electronics in Richmond, Illinois and enjoyed shooting pool and playing guitar.

Greg is survived by his sisters, Karen Roehrig, (Mark), Melbourne, Florida and Vicki Cockrum (Dan), Chrisney; brothers, Tim Poehlein (Denise), Holland, Butch Poehlein, Cliff Poehlein (Chris) and Keith Poehlein, all of Gentryville and several nieces and nephews.

His mother, Carolyn S. (Hess) Polen and a brother, Richard Poehlein preceded him in death.

There will be no visitation or funeral services. Greg’s family will get together later to celebrate his life and, at that time, bury him near other family members at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, is assisting them with these wishes.
