Bristow, Indiana - Goldie M. Sprinkle, 87, passed away on Wednesday, October 03, 2012, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born, at home, in Apalona, Indiana, on February 3, 1925, daughter of the late Henry and Bridget (Sprinkle) Flamion. Also preceding her in death were her sisters, Florence Hubert and Hettie Pierrard; brothers, Derrel, William and Homer Flamion and a great grandson, Bryce Fenwick. Goldie married Homer Sprinkle on October 18, 1947, at St. John's Catholic Church in Bristow. He passed away in 2006. A homemaker, she enjoyed playing cards, working crossword puzzles, cross stitching, quilting and watching WWE wrestling. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church where she helped with funeral meals. Surviving are her daughters, Rosetta Roberts, Bristow and Annette Underhill (Danny), Doolittle Mills; son, Wayne Sprinkle (Tammy), Tell City; brother, Ivan Flamion (Nellie), Bristow; grandchildren, Brad Schraner, Nathan Schraner, Amy Fenwick, Sarah Rhodes, Leanne Sprinkle, Steve Underhill, Eric Underhill, Bobby Joe Underhill and Elsa Underhill and fifteen great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, October 6, 2012, at St. Isidore Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Guy Mansini, OSB, will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday and from 8:30 until 9:15 AM Saturday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. There will be a prayer service at 6:00 PM on Friday evening. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Isidore Catholic Church.
