Bristow, Indiana - Golda L. Aders, 85, passed away February 23, 2018 at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City. She was born November 20, 1932 in Clark Township in Perry County, daughter of the late Claude and Nova (Underhill) Rickenbaugh. Also preceding her in death was her husband, William Joseph "Joe" Aders in 1998; sisters, Wilma Harpenau and Loretta Epple; and brother, Archie Rickenbaugh. A 1951 graduate of Bristow High School, she went on to attend cosmetology school in Evansville, with completion in 1960. She owned Golda's Beauty Shop in Tell City for several years. Golda was a 50 year member of Order of the Eastern Star #272. She was a board member of Bristow Community Center, served as an officer on the board for Bristow Cemetery and she and her husband, Joe, were instrumental in the process of being able to house the Anderson Township Fire Department equipment in Bristow. Surviving her is a brother, Darrell Rickenbaugh and his wife, Eula, of Jesup, Georgia and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CST Monday, February 26, 2018 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Brother Al Madden will officiate. Entombment will follow in Bristow Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:00-6:00 PM, with an Eastern Star memorial service at 6:00 PM. There will also be visitation on Monday from 9:00-11:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Bristow Cemetery Association.
