Glodean Kratzer, 81, passed away on January 12, 2021. She was born in Perry County, January 9, 1940 daughter of the late John and Edna (Kellems) Kellems. Glodean and Billy were united in marriage on September 1, 1962 at Tell City Church of Christ. She retired from General Electric in 1995 after 35 of service and was a member of Freewill Baptist Church in Cannelton. Glodean enjoyed shopping, going out to eat with Billy and taking drives, sometimes ending up in the Smoky Mountains. She is survived by her children; Ginger Fisher (John), Tell City and Jeff Kratzer (Sabrina), Cannelton; brothers, Delmar Kellems (Deanna), New Ellenton, S.C. and Preston Kellems, Tell City; grandchildren, Trevor Fisher (Heather), Zachary Fisher (Stephanie), Taylor Kratzer (Carlos), Jeremy McFarling (Sandy); great grandchildren, Ryan Fisher, Brayden McFarling and Courtney and Jonathan McFarling. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Billy Kratzer in 2006; brothers Wayne and Eddie Kellems and grandson, Michael McFarling. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM CST on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in New Cliff Cemetery in Cannelton. Pastor Dan Hopkins will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 pm on Wednesday and from 9:00 until 10:00 AM on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Freewill Baptist Church.
