Glenda Bowen

Cannelton, Indiana - Glenda L. Bowen, 74, passed away on August 27, 2018. She was born in Tell City on October 10, 1943. Her mother, Margaret (Young) Thomas and a daughter, Angie Lane Strange preceded her in death. Glenda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading, listening to music and dancing. Surviving are her children, Bobby Whaley, Florence, Kentucky, Dottie Ferguson (Virlie), New Albany and Amy Mayo (Mike), Tell City; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren including Brandy Ammons (her oldest granddaughter) and her family for whom helped care for Glenda during her final days. Funeral services are at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, with visitation from 12:00 - 4:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
