Gladys Dennison

Mt. Pleasant, Indiana Gladys (Bess) Dennison, 93, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. Gladys was born in Horse Cave, Kentucky on June 20, 1914 the daughter of the late J.L. and Maude (Stasel) Martin. She was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas Martin Dennison, a daughter, Sarah E. Dennison, four sisters, Elizabeth Crosse, Mary Carden, Della McKinney and Belva Nichols and a brother, Edward Martin. Gladys enjoyed reading, crocheting, flowers and gardening. She was of the Methodist faith. Gladys is survived by one son, Robert Curd, Mt. Pleasant, Indiana Six grandchildren, Teresa, Robert H., J. Michael and Steven E. Curd, Robert Roth and Vicky Carlsen There are 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens. Pastor Paul Alvey will officiate. Visitation is from 4:00-8:00 PM Friday and 9:00-10:00 AM Saturday at Huber Funeral Home, 1139 12th Street, Tell City, Indiana.
