Gerald Parr

Tell City, Indiana Gerald W. "Gerry" Parr, 77, of New Madison, Ohio, formerly of Perry County, passed away April 20, 2021. He was born in Perry County, Indiana on February 16, 1944 to Clyde Sr., and Emma Mae (Feix) Parr. Gerry was a 1962 graduate of Cannelton High School. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 22 years. After retiring from the military, he worked for Tri- Village Schools in New Madison, Ohio. Gerry enjoyed cooking, being outdoors, classic cars, watching westerns and sports, especially the Cincinnati Reds. A family man, Gerry was proud of his two sons and spending time with his grandson. Surviving are his sons, Michael Parr, New Madison, OH and Matthew Parr (Eryn), Greenville, OH; step son; Rick Naegele, St. Marys, OH; a grandson, Mason Parr; sisters, Linda Weigand (Kenny), Tell City and Edna May Young, Pendleton; a brother, George Parr, Tell City and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Clyde Parr, Jr. Services will be held at 1:00 PM CDT on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time. Rev. Joe Simpson will officiate with burial in New Cliff Cemetery. American Legion Post #213 will conduct military rites.
