Gerald James, 74, passed away on January, 25, 2024 at Oakwood Health Campus.


He was born on June 25, 1949, son of Edward and Kathryn (Haney) James, who preceded him in death.


Gerald was a 1968 graduate of Perry Central High School and Oakland City College. He retired from General Electric in 1985 as office manager.


He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and former member of the Knights of Columbus and F.O.P.


Gerald enjoyed going to auctions, searching for antiques, gardening and he loved to travel.


Surviving are his two sisters, Phyllis Hagedorn (Don) of Evansville and Brenda James of Tell City; a niece, Leslie Miles (John) and great niece, Hannah Miles.


Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM CST on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City. Rev. Luke Waugh will officiate.

Burial will follow in St. Augustine Church Cemetery.


Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM CST at the funeral home.


Memorial contributions may be made to St. Augustine Catholic Church.
