George Cronin

Tell City, Indiana George W. Cronin, 82, passed away at 5:35 PM Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City. George was born February 22, 1923 in Perry County, Indiana the son of the late Arnie and Lena Bunch Cronin. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Benny and Bill Cronin, a sister, Elizabeth Cronin and a twin brother and sister who died in childhood. George was employed for several years at the former Tell City Desk Company. He was well known throughout Tell City for passing sales bills for several local businesses. George was an avid fan of Tell City High School basketball and baseball and also enjoyed horseshoes. George is survived by aunts, uncles and cousins including Carl Cronin of Tell City who cared for him. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday October 22, 2005 at Huber Funeral Home-Tell City Chapel with burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Tell City. Pastor Stephen Beck will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 PM Friday and from 9:00 to 11:00 AM Saturday at Huber Funeral Home-Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene in Tell City.
