Gary Smith

Tell City, Indiana Gary D. Smith, 57, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Jewish Hospital. He was born October 15, 1953 in Perry County the son of Roy L. Smith and the late Minnie (Hall) Smith. Also preceding him in death was a sister Carolyn Schraner. A former member of the Indiana National Guard, Gary was a horse trainer. He loved horses, walking and watching old Westerns. Gary is survived by his father Roy Smith of Cannelton, sister, Rosalie Nelson of Tell City and brother Alan Lee Smith of Cannelton. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in Carr Cemetery near Derby. Visitation will be from noon until service time.
