Gary Glenn

Evanston, Indiana - Gary R. Glenn, 77, passed away on March 11, 2021. He was born in Tell City on May 20, 1943, son of William "Pooner" and Clara (Bolin) Glenn. A 1961 graduate of Cannelton High School, Gary married Etta Jean Freeman on June 10, 1966 at First United Methodist Church in Cannelton. He retired from OFS in Huntingburg and was a member of Windward Heights Country Club, in Hawesville, Kentucky, where he played golf with his many friends. Gary enjoyed the Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Browns, bass fishing tournaments and coon and rabbit hunting. His wife of 54 years, Etta Jean Glenn survives him along with several family members, friends and golfing buddies. His parents and a brother, Greg Glenn, preceded him in death. Memorial contributions may be made to Windward Heights Country Club where his friends and family will be placing a memorial in his honor. Gary requested that his services be private with burial in New Cliff Cemetery near his family. Huber Funeral Home will be assisting the family with his wishes.
