Frieda Taylor

Tell City, Indiana - Frieda "Fritz" Taylor, 89, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016. She was born in Perry County on February 15, 1927, daughter of the late Frank and Thelma (LaGrange) LeMaire. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Ralph Taylor; son, Bryan Taylor; brother, Curt LeMaire and sister, Rosella LeMaire. Fritz was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and enjoyed playing cards, taking walks, cooking, gardening, watching basketball and watching her great grandchildren in their sporting events. She is survived by her son, Grant Taylor (Gayle), Tell City; sisters, Evelyn Weiss and Millie Harth; brother, Dallas LeMaire; grandchildren, Vicki Freeman (Eric), Bryan Taylor (Stephanie Groves) and Eric Alvey (Jessie); great-grandchildren, Bryn and Josie Freeman and Alivia Alvey and Eric Alvey, Jr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at St. Paul Catholic Church with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. Dennis Duvelius will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 8:00PM on Tuesday and from 8:30-9:30am on Wednesday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to The Bryan Taylor Memorial Fund.
