Frederick Hawkins

Tell City, Indiana Frederick Forrest Hawkins II, 91, passed away Sunday August 10, 2008 at Spring Tree Rehabilitation Center in Sunrise, Florida. He was born February 27, 1917 in Perry County son of the late Frederick Forrest Hawkins Sr. and Nellie (Payne) Hawkins. Also preceding him in death was a brother James Hawkins and two sisters, Juanita Trumphy and Pauline Maulspby. Frederick was an ironworker and he enjoyed fishing and hunting, baseball and IU basketball. He is survived by: His daughter, Nanell Lough, Plantation, Florida His son, Frederick Forrest Hawkins III, Delray, Florida 4 grandchildren, Shawn, Andrew, and Danielle Demarest and Megan Lough 4 great grandchildren Graveside services will be Friday, August 15, 2008 at 12:00 PM at Lamb Cemetery in Tobinsport, Indiana. Pastor Paul Alvey will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 AM Friday at Huber Funeral Home Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Lamb Cemetery.
