Frank Dupont

Tell City, Indiana - Franklin D. "Frank" Dupont, 55, passed away November 26, 2016, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born October 13, 1961, son of the late John A. and Virginia (Simpson) Dupont. Also preceding him in death is a sister, Charlotte Johnson. Frank was a 1980 graduate of Tell City High School. He was united in marriage on June 26, 1981, at St. Paul Catholic Church, to the former Rebecca Young. He was currently working at Domtar, formerly The Paper Mill, where he had been employed for over 35 years. Frank was a member of USW Local #1261 and enjoyed hunting, listening to music, reading military history, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Rebecca "Boone" Dupont of Tell City; daughters, Valorie Wallace (Joe) of Leopold and Breanna Kempf (Jeremy) of Tell City; four grandchildren, Elly, Jackson and Gavin Wallace and Luke Kempf; a sister, LaVaughn "Ginny" O'Dell (Bob) of Tell City; brothers, Ray Dupont and Barry Dupont, both of Tell City. Funeral services will be at 2:00PM CST, Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Rev. Sengole Thomas G. will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00-7:00PM and Tuesday, from 12:00 until 2:00PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to The Aneurysm and AVM Foundation.
