Frances Williams

St. Meinrad, Indiana - Frances H. ""GG"" Williams, 85, passed away at 5:25 PM on Saturday, October 1, 2011, at Scenic Hills Care Center in Ferdinand. She was born in Tell City on December 5, 1925. Her parents were the late Russell and Frances Nelson. Also preceding her in death were her sons, Joe, Charlie and John Sandage; a grandson, Cody Sandage and her husband, Walter A. Williams in 2007. Frances enjoyed working as a caregiver for the elderly, working crossword puzzles, reading romance novels, playing cards, watching television and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving is a daughter, Starletta Meyer, St. Meinrad; sons, Pete Sandage, Noblesville, Chester Sandage, St. Meinrad and Ronnie Sandage, Tell City; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral and burial arrangements are private and being handled by Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel.
