Frances Powers

Tell City, Indiana Frances A. Powers, 71, passed away April 18, 2017 at her home. She was born in Troy, Indiana on December 25, 1945 to the late Paul and Rosalie (Knable) Linne. Also preceding her in death was her brother, Paul Linne. Frances was a 1963 graduate of Cannelton High School and was a member of First Church of The Nazarene in Tell City and TOPS. Always on the go, Frances enjoyed sewing, playing cards, arts and crafts and being with her dog, Cain. Surviving are her sons, Bill Powers, Tell City, Rod Powers (Michele Ramsey), Newburgh and Wes Powers (Tina Jarvis), Hawesville; granddaughter, Taryn Powers; sister, Mary Schilling (Mark), Fulda; brothers, Donnie Linne (Bernadette), Troy and Charles "Mike" Linne (Vicky), Evanston. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, April 28, 2017 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with visitation from 3:00-7:00 PM. Pastor Charles Areson will officiate.
