Tell City, Indiana Forrest O. Scott, 81, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at Oakwood Health Campus. He was born in Tell City, October 31, 1932, son of the late Charles Oscar and Anna Marie (Kellems) Scott. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Bob, Charlie, Bill and Jim, sisters, Louis Blake and Mary Emma Scott. He was united in marriage September 27, 1952, to Edith P. Sanders, who survives him. Forrest was a U.S. Army veteran and retired in 1993 from Best Chairs. He was a taxidermist, shoe repairman and enjoyed hunting fishing and woodworking. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Edith; daughter, Linda Scott, Evansville; sons, Jack Scott, Cannelton and Mike Scott, Tell City; brother, David Scott, Owensboro; sister, Betty Sturgeon, Cannelton; grandchildren, Steven and Greg Marchand and great grandchildren, Hunter and Claire Marchand. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, April 11, 2014 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Pastor Dan Hopkins will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday and from 9:00 until 11:00 AM Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church.
