Faye Stowe

Cannelton, Indiana - Wanda "Faye" Stowe, 77, passed away Friday, December 23, 2016 at her home. Faye was born on November 6, 1939, in Hancock County, Kentucky. Her parents were the late Arnold and Beulah (Boling) Rearden. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Maurice Stowe; sister, Doris Stowe and a brother, Virgil Rearden. She retired from Parker Hannifin and had attended Deer Creek Baptist Church. Faye enjoyed watching t.v., especially Little House On The Prarie and The Waltons, but spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, meant the most to her. Surviving are her children, Danny Stowe, Charleston, South Carolina, Debra Beaver (Jason), Fordsville, Kentucky and Donnie Stowe (Tracy), Cannelton; grandchildren, Josh Ford (Vanessa), April Sturgeon, Megan Dixon (Brian) and Justin Stowe; great grandchildren, Gracie, Trevor and Brendon Sturgeon, Reece and Brody Ford and Trenton Early. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CST on Thursday, December 29, 2016, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Tell City. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 PM on Wednesday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Thursday. Rev. Tennessee Robbins will officiate.
