Glenda "Faye" Evrard, 73, passed away on August 21, 2023.
She was born in Oriole on March 11, 1950 to the late Hadley and Velma (Frakes) Knieriem.
Faye was a 1968 graduate of Perry Central High School. She was united in marriage at St. Paul Catholic Church on February 15, 1975 to Gerald D. "Gary" Evrard, who preceded her in death in 2019.
A member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Faye had worked at the former Rainbow Cottage Day Care through Catholic Charities. She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards with her friends and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her children, Brandi Labhart (Erik), Tell City, Amber Stowe, Lewisport and Amanda Evrard Pruitt (Chad), Evansville; grandchildren, Jackson and Alivia Labhart, Brayden and Emma Stowe, Kaylee Evrard, Carlee Garner and Amari Pruitt; sisters, Jean Galey (Doug), St. Croix, Joyce Tooke (Mike), Wyoming and brothers, Jim Knieriem (Sue), Taswell and Don Knieriem (Dora), Corydon.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband and a son in infancy, Brian Joseph Evrard.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM CDT on Friday, August 25, 2023 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Rev. Kolbe Wolniakowski will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 PM CDT on Thursday and 8:30 AM until service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
