Bristow, Indiana Eva Belle Baker, 79, of Bristow and formerly of Tacoma, Washington, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville, Indiana. Eva was born August 30, 1930 in Bedford, Indiana, daughter of the late Lee and Verna (Quackenbush) Milligan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Baker in 1967 and a great grandson, Cole Ray Wiscaver in 2010. Eva retired from Catholic Community Services in Tacoma where she was a Home Care Assistant. Eva was a member of Bristow United Pentecostal Church. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed collectibles and embroidering. Eva is survived by two daughters, Eva Mae Skinner, Tacoma, Washington and Carol Lake, Bristow, Indiana, two sons, Edmund E. Lake and James M. Baker, both of Tacoma, two sisters, Uda Dunbar, Puyallup, Washington and Virginia Lake, Moses Lake, Washington. There are twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Bristow United Pentecostal Church, Bristow, Indiana. Burial is in Mountain View Cemetery, Lakewood, Washington. Huber Funeral Home, Tell City, Indiana is in charge of local arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
