Estella was born July 3, 1912 in Rome, Indiana daughter of the late Henry Schove and Sadie (Strubbie) Schove. Also preceding her in death were her husbands, Millard Miller and James E. Mogan and a grandson Joseph Lee Miller, three sisters, Louise Young Ross, Edith Boyle and Esther Schove, four brothers, Fred, Arnold, August and Ernest Schove, 7 half sisters and 3 half brothers. She worked at Lehman Company of America in Cannelton until it burned in 1946. After attending Beauty School at Henderson, Kentucky, she operated a beauty shop in Cannelton. Later she worked until retirement at General Electric. After her retirement, she worked at Lincoln Hills Nursing Home and OAKS Senior Center in Cannelton. She was a member of the Troy Christian Church and a former member of Perry County Senior Citizens, where she was elected senior queen in 1979. Estella is survived by: Her son, James H. Miller and his wife Eva Rose, Rome, Indiana Two grandchildren: James H. Miller, Jr. and his wife, Carol, Rome, Indiana Judy Voegel and her husband, Dave, Poseyville, Indiana Great grandchildren, Ashli and Abigail Rose Voegel Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday September 30, 2007 at Huber Funeral Home, 1139 12th Street Tell City. Pastor Paul Alvey will officiate. Burial will be in Wegenast Cemetery at Rome, Indiana. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 PM Saturday and from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM Sunday at Huber Funeral Home-Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Rome Cemetery Association.
