Erma Weatherholt

Cannelton, Indiana Erma Lee Weatherholt, 89, passed away Monday, July 26, 2004 at Beverly Healthcare in Tell City, Indiana. Erma was born April 23, 1915 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late George Porter Haley and Mary Emma (Halliburton) Haley Stulck. Also preceding her in death were four children, Christine Gude in 1936, Edward ""Buddy"" Gude MIA in Korea in 1950, Julia Gude Ahl in 1958 and World Champion CART racecar driver Randall Weatherholt in 1974. Also four brothers, George, Kirk, Prentice, & Carl Haley and five grandchildren, Bryon Weatherholt, Carly Crawford, and three grandchildren in infancy. She married Frank E. Weatherholt January 25, 1944 in Cannelton, Indiana. Frank passed away in 1985. Erma retired in 1980 from Carborundum in Tell City and had formerly worked at the Indiana Cotton Mill in Cannelton. She enjoyed quilting and cooking for her family. Survived by: A daughter: Ruby Crawford, Cannelton, Indiana A son: Keith Weatherholt, Cannelton, Indiana 11 grandchildren: Steve, Richard & Cheryl Ahl, Christina Brown, Danny, Billy, & John Crawford, Pam May, Alyson Williams, Randall & Joshua Weatherholt 23 great grandchildren 12 great great grandchildren Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, July 29, 2004 at Lamb Cemetery in Tobinsport, Indiana. Arrangements are by Huber Funeral Home, 129 North Sixth Street, Cannelton, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry County Memorial Hospital or Tobinsport Cemetery Association.
