Emma Bryant

Tell City, Indiana Emma Lou Bryant, 74, passed away at 12:41 PM Sunday, June 22, 2008 at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Tell City. Emma Lou was born February 8, 1934 at Dexter, Indiana daughter of the late Forrest and Eva (Gaither) Manning. Also preceding her in death was a sister, Ruth Elnora Roberts. A 1952 graduate of Tell City High School, she retired in 1989 from General Electric in Tell City after 33 years. Emma Lou moved from Dexter to Tell City in 2003 and was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Leopold, Indiana. She enjoyed needlework, reading, and playing bingo. She is survived by: Her son: Dennis ""Tom"" O'Donovan Sr., Magnet, Indiana Her daughter: Rebecca L. Hubert and her husband Mike, Tell City, Indiana Four grandchildren: Tommy O'Donovan Jr., Joseph, Adam, & Crystal Hubert Three great grandsons: Farhan Chowdhury, Denny & Zach O'Donovan Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Rev. Sean Hoppe OSB will officiate. Burial will be in Stephenson Cemetery at Dexter, Indiana. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday and from 9:00 until 10:30 AM Wednesday at Huber Funeral Home, 1139 12th Street Tell City where there will be a prayer service at 6:30 PM Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Stephenson Cemetery or the American Heart Association.
