Ella Lawalin

Tell City, Indiana Ella Mae Lawalin, 98, passed away February 19, 2020 at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Cannelton, Indiana on September 8, 1921 to the late Grover Cleveland and Ella Mae (Riley) Rollins. Also preceding her in death was her husband, James Lawalin, in 1993; a son, Tom Lawalin; and siblings, Lucille, Dorothy, Russell, Leroy and Junior. Surviving are her children, James "Jim" Lawalin (Margaret), Tell City, Dennis Lawalin (Dana), Daphne, AL and Linda DiPietro (Mike), Henderson, KY; nine grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM CST on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00-7:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 -11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
