Elizabeth Sandage

Grandview, Indiana - Elizabeth A. ""Liz"" Sandage, 58, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2011, at Owensboro Mercy Health Systems. She was born in West Virginia on June 9, 1953. Her parents were John and Arlyne (Boyd) Hughes. Also preceding her in death was a brother, John Hughes Jr. ""Kayo"". Liz married Marvin Sandage on August 7, 1970. She was a member of Grandview United Methodist Church and Grandview Church of Nazarene. Liz enjoyed working with children at Miss Ruth's Roundup where she was a day care provider. She enjoyed reading, crochet work, Chicago Cubs baseball, collecting angels and spending time with family and friends. Surviving are her husband, Marvin; daughter, Kati Richard (Scott), Grandview; son, Eddie Sandage (Britney), Garfield, KY; brother, Tom Hughes (Susan), Cannelton; grandchildren, Brad and Brenna Richard, Bailey Kennedy and Breana Wheatley. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery in Tell City. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Wednesday. Rev. Randy Boyer will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen For the Cure or a favorite charity.
