Elizabeth Meador

Elizabeth J. "Betty" Meador, 89, passed away at her home on January 5, 2021. She was born in Patchague, New York on August 27, 1931. Betty enjoyed meeting and visiting people and retired from Tell City Wal-Mart where she was a greeter. She loved playing computer games and was a fan of Jacksonville Jaguar football. Surviving are her children, Rick Talbaldi, Patchague, NY, Sharon Speedy (Steve), Chuck Meador and Mike Meador (Misty), all of Tell City and a granddaughter, Mikayla Meador. Preceding her in death was her husband, Charles A. Meador, Jr. in 2008; her mother, Elizabeth (Doxie) Collins; sisters, Grace and Margaret Collins and a brother, Chip Collins. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM CST on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Greenwood Cemetery. Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, is assisting the family with her arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
