Elesia Parra

Cannelton, Indiana Elesia E. Parra, 51, passed away October 11, 2016 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born January 23, 1965 in Perry County, daughter of the late Emory and Daisy (Harrison) Martin. Also preceding her in death was a sister, Mary Walker and brother, John Martin. Elesia was a member of United Pentecostal Church Bristow, and enjoyed drawing, being around horses and spending time with her daughter and grandchildren. She also had a beautiful voice. She is survived by her husband, Raphael Parra, Huntingburg; daughter, Sylvia Scales, Huntingburg; sisters, Barbara Alvey, Bandon, Sandra Applegate, Bristow, and Floreta Baird, Tell City; six grandchildren, Christina, Kimberly and Maco Martin and JoJo and Lucy Gonzales and Daisy Scales. Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, will be handling her arrangements. There will be no visitation or funeral services.
