Eleanor Huff

Tell City, Indiana Eleanor (Amos) Huff, 88, formerly of Tell City, passed away May 10, 2016 in Portage, Indiana. She was born April 19, 1928 in Indianapolis, Indiana, daughter of the late Harold and Celeste (O'Conner) Amos. Also preceding her in death was her husband John C. Huff in 2002, brother, Alfred Amos and sister, Olive Wilmier. Eleanor was a 1946 graduate of Tell City High School. She had worked for General Electric in Tell City before retiring from McGill's in 1990. Eleanor had been a member of Barrington Ridge Baptist Church in Hobart, Indiana and had attended First Baptist Church in Tell City. She is survived by her children; Jayne Loscuito (Peter), Spartanburg, South Carolina, John H. Huff, Lake Station, Indiana and Judith Osborn (Rick), St. Petersburg, Florida; three grandchildren, Jason Loscuito (Chamlee), Anthony West (Kara) and April Huff (John), the two great grandchildren, Abigail Loscuito and Brennen West. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM CDT Monday, May 16, 2016 at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, with burial in Cliff Cemetery. Rev. Jason P. Loscuito will officiate. Visitation will be from noon until service time.
